About Us
ISSL KYЇV is a Ukrainian clothing brand founded in 2018 by Oleksandr Nesterchuk, Kyiv native, also known as Mikki Fingaz.
The idea for the brand emerged during Oleksandr’s extended time abroad. The distance from home inspired a deep reflection on identity and belonging, leading to the creation of a brand that serves as a reminder of Ukraine and a symbol of unity for those who support it.
Today, ISSL KYЇV offers two key collections:
- "кИЇв" — The core collection celebrates the founder’s love and connection to Kyiv. During the full-scale war, this logo became a powerful identifier for the community: some defended Ukraine wearing the "кИЇв" emblem on their uniforms, while others, displaced abroad, carried the same logo as a symbol of belonging and resilience.
- "ЛЮТИЙ" — The charitable collection directs a significant portion of its proceeds to support defenders, medics, and the families of fallen heroes.
The brand has gained recognition among notable figures, including veteran Oleksandr Teren, Kyiv historian Kyrylo Stepants, musician Oleksandr Chemerov, American director Ryan Smith, actor Liev Schreiber, and countless others worldwide who share a connection to Ukraine.
Oleksandr Nesterchuk is also recognized for his work as Head of Production at Saint Javelin (2022–2024), where he played a pivotal role in creating significant collections (Winter is Coming, Crimea Beach Party, Defender) advancing initiatives to support Ukraine during the war.
At its core, ISSL KYЇV is more than a clothing brand started by one person, — it’s a movement that bridges style, identity, and solidarity, connecting Ukrainians at home, frontline and abroad.
